I have had a passion for design since childhood. When I was a junior in high school I decided to study abroad and moved to England to study textiles. This incredible experience inspired me to participate in a Sewing and Construction Summer Intensive at Parsons. I was motivated by the facilities and creative culture to apply and later attend Parsons School of Design. Outside of the studio, I am greatly inspired by travel. I feel that the privilege to experience different cultures and communities drives some of my best work. I enjoy solo travelling and hostel-hopping as well as meeting up with old friends. Another way I add depth to my work is through my study of Psychology at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts. Understanding the mind and development grounds my work with a level of reality.
